Share resources, opportunities, and next steps with the community.
Community organizations, nonprofits, schools, faith communities, and service-based partners are invited to host a table at the 2027 MLK Community Celebration.
Community tables are an opportunity to share resources, programs, services, volunteer opportunities, and meaningful next steps for people who want to continue the work beyond the celebration.
This event is rooted in Dr. King’s vision of the Beloved Community — a community where justice, dignity, service, and shared responsibility are lived in action.
Date: Monday, January 18, 2027
Time: 7:00 PM
Location: Viterbo University Fine Arts Center
Cost: Free and open to the community
Approved table hosts will receive additional details about arrival time, setup, table size, parking, and event flow before the celebration.
Community tables are a good fit for organizations that offer:
Community resources
Youth or family programs
Educational opportunities
Volunteer opportunities
Health, housing, food, or basic needs support
Civil rights, equity, or justice-related work
Leadership, service, or belonging initiatives
Faith-based or nonprofit community support
Opportunities for people to take meaningful action

Community table hosts should:
Provide welcoming and relevant information to attendees
Bring any materials needed for their table
Keep the table focused on resources, service, community support, or meaningful action
Have a representative present during the designated table time
Honor the spirit of the MLK Community Celebration

Thank you for helping create a celebration that connects people to resources, relationships, and meaningful action. Community tables help make the MLK Community Celebration more than an event — they help turn reflection into connection and action.
